New program aims to stop drowning in kids with autism

Summary
This study is testing a 10-week swim and water safety program called AquOTic for children with autism. The program aims to teach essential skills to help prevent drowning, a leading cause of death for autistic children. Researchers will enroll 108 kids to see if the program works and compare having therapy students run it versus trained community members.
