Breathing exercises in the pool: a new hope for kids with asthma?
NCT ID NCT07394127
Summary
This study tested whether adding special breathing muscle training to a regular swimming program could help children with mild asthma breathe better and control their symptoms. Thirty children aged 8-11 did a 4-week swimming program, with half also doing daily breathing exercises. Researchers measured lung strength, function, and how well the children's asthma was controlled before and after the program.
