Summary
This study tested if a sugar-free sweet solution applied before a dental numbing shot can lower pain in children aged 6-12. Fifty-four kids received either the sweet solution or plain water before injections at two visits. Researchers measured pain using child reports, observer ratings, and heart rate changes.
