Summary

This study tested two different treatments—neuromuscular electrical stimulation (using mild electrical pulses) and electromyographic biofeedback (using visual signals)—to see which one better improves swallowing in people who had a stroke. Sixty adults aged 45 to 60 with moderate swallowing problems took part. The goal was to help them eat and drink more safely and easily.
