Summary
This study aims to understand why some head and neck cancer patients follow, and others skip, prescribed swallowing exercises after radiation therapy. Researchers will collect blood samples and ask patients to fill out questionnaires to see if factors like mood, pain, immune system proteins, or social support affect exercise habits. The goal is to learn how to better help patients stick to their recovery plans and potentially prevent future swallowing problems.
