Scientists test neck band to supercharge swallowing

Summary
This study aims to understand if a device worn around the neck can increase the workload of muscles used for swallowing. Researchers will measure pressure changes in the throat of 60 healthy adults while they swallow different substances. The goal is to gather basic knowledge that could later help people with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
