Gentle touch vs. cozy nest: which soothes babies in the ICU?
NCT ID NCT07335263
Summary
This study aims to find out if swaddling or nesting works better to reduce pain and stress in newborns who need help breathing. Researchers will compare these two common, gentle care methods in 100 infants. They will measure stress using heart rate, breathing, and a simple saliva test, hoping to improve comfort care for babies in intensive care.
