Simple swaddling soothes stressed newborns after bath time
NCT ID NCT06171997
Summary
This study tested whether safely swaddling newborns right after a bath could help them feel less stressed and more comfortable. Researchers worked with 72 full-term, stable babies in a Turkish hospital's intensive care unit. They compared the babies' stress and comfort levels before and after bathing, and then again after being swaddled for 15 minutes.
