New cancer pill enters first human trials

Summary

This is the first study in humans of an experimental tablet called SWA1211 for people with advanced solid tumors that have not responded to standard treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose, understand how the body processes the drug, and look for early signs that it might help shrink tumors. The study will enroll about 60 adults to test increasing doses of the pill.
