First seen May 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a new pain medicine called suzetrigine for women recovering from pelvic surgery. The goal is to see if it controls pain as well as standard opioids but without the risk of addiction or side effects like drowsiness. About 120 women will take either suzetrigine or usual opioid painkillers, and researchers will measure their pain levels and how much opioid rescue medication they need.
