The stitch that hurts less? study tests surgical threads
NCT ID NCT05261425
Summary
This study aims to find out if certain types of stitches or stitching techniques lead to less pain and better healing after hand or wrist surgery. Researchers will randomly assign 160 patients to receive different standard stitches during their operation. After surgery, they will track patients' pain levels and how well the wound heals to see if one method is better.
