Stitch for the itch? new study tests which sewing method leaves the faintest scar
NCT ID NCT06288009
Summary
This study aims to find out if a specific stitching technique called a 'running locking suture' leads to less noticeable scars than the standard 'running suture' method after surgery on the head or neck. Researchers will test this by using both methods on different halves of the same wound in each of the 50 participants. The goal is to see which side heals with a better cosmetic appearance and fewer complications.
