Summary
This study aims to find out which type of surgical stitch works better for closing the abdominal wall after major surgery. It will compare a dissolving stitch with a permanent one in 156 patients in Pakistan. The main goal is to see which stitch leads to fewer hernias, infections, and long-term pain over six months.
