Summary
This study looked at whether placing stitches 1 centimeter apart or 2 centimeters apart leads to a better-looking scar after surgery. Fifty adults had their wounds closed with both spacing methods on different parts of the same wound. Blinded reviewers then rated the scars to see which spacing gave a more cosmetic result.
