First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called survodutide to see if it helps people with obesity burn more energy and fat. About 64 adults aged 18 to 65 with a BMI between 30 and 45 will take part. They will receive either survodutide or the existing drug semaglutide once a week for several months. Researchers will measure energy use in a special room to compare the two treatments.
