Study checks if hospital catheter care follows the rules
NCT ID NCT07259421
Summary
This study aims to understand how nurses currently use a special solution called taurolidine to lock and clean catheters (PICC lines) used for nutrition therapy. Researchers will observe 45 patients to see if the nurses' practices match the official instructions and recommendations. The goal is to identify any gaps in care and track how well the catheters work over 30 days.
