Summary
This study aims to understand how many people in hospitals and long-term care facilities have unmet palliative care needs. On a single day, researchers will survey 3,000 adult patients and residents about their symptoms, pain, and overall health. The goal is to gather data to improve awareness and future care planning, not to provide direct treatment.
