Can a High-Tech practice doll make surgeons better?
NCT ID NCT05418764
Summary
This study tested whether practicing on a specialized training model (the Miya Model) helps new surgeons perform vaginal hysterectomy surgery better in real operating rooms. It involved 25 resident surgeons who had performed very few of these surgeries. The goal was to see if this type of simulation training could become a standard part of surgical education.
