Doctors test a simple stitch trick for Better-Looking scars

NCT ID NCT05758181

Summary

This study is testing if a specific surgical technique, called 'undermining the apices,' leads to less noticeable scars. It involves 50 adults having surgery on areas like the neck, arms, or legs. Doctors will use the technique on one half of a patient's wound and not the other, then compare the two sides after three months to see which looks better.
