Doctors test which surgical glue causes fewer skin rashes

NCT ID NCT05492721

Summary

This study compared two types of surgical skin glue used to seal small incisions after minimally invasive abdominal surgery. Researchers wanted to see which glue caused fewer skin rashes (contact dermatitis) in the six weeks after surgery. They tested both glues on the same patient—one on the left side of the abdomen and one on the right—to directly compare the results.
