Simple gloves may shield breast cancer patients from chemo nerve pain

Summary
This study tests whether wearing surgical gloves during paclitaxel chemotherapy can prevent nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) in breast cancer patients. About 104 people with stage II-III breast cancer will be randomly assigned to wear gloves or not. Researchers will compare changes in nerve pain and function between the two groups using patient questionnaires.
