Summary

This study compares two standard treatments for stage I non-small cell lung cancer: surgery and a precise type of radiation called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). About 446 patients will be followed for up to 3 years to see which treatment leads to better survival and quality of life. The goal is to help doctors and patients choose the best option for early-stage lung cancer.
