Medical showdown: cutting vs. zapping rare spinal tumors

Summary
This study aims to determine whether surgery or radiation therapy works better for controlling primary sacral chordoma, a rare type of bone tumor near the tailbone. The trial will enroll 100 adults with newly diagnosed tumors who haven't had previous treatment. Participants will either be randomly assigned to receive surgery (with possible radiation) or radiation therapy alone, or they can choose their preferred treatment if they don't want random assignment.
