Major cancer trial tests if aggressive surgery extends life for advanced pancreatic tumors
NCT ID NCT07273409
Summary
This study aims to find the best treatment for advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) that have spread. It will compare two approaches: one group receives near-total surgical removal of the tumor plus standard drug treatments, while the other receives drug treatments alone. The goal is to see which strategy helps patients live longer and improves their quality of life.
