Can a more extensive surgery stop this aggressive cancer from coming back?
NCT ID NCT07321210
Summary
This study is for people with high-risk cancer in their kidney or ureter (the tube to the bladder). It compares two types of surgery: the standard operation versus the standard operation plus a more thorough removal of nearby lymph nodes. Researchers want to see if the more extensive surgery helps patients live longer without the cancer returning and if it is safe. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgery groups and followed for up to 10 years.
