Study tests if 'Aesthetic' stitching helps women feel better after cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07327125

Summary

This study aims to see if the way a surgical scar is closed affects how women feel about their bodies and their mood after surgery for gynecologic cancers. Researchers will compare a standard closure method (staples or separate stitches) with a more cosmetic method (hidden, continuous stitches under the skin). The goal is to find out which technique leads to better body image and emotional well-being for patients, while also ensuring both methods are equally safe.
