First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compares surgery alone versus surgery plus heated chemotherapy (HITOC) for people with thymic tumors that have spread to the chest lining. About 202 adults aged 18-75 will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see if the heated chemo helps prevent the cancer from coming back and improves survival.
