Dual-Attack strategy targets deadly brain tumors
NCT ID NCT07384884
Summary
This study tests a two-part treatment for a very aggressive type of brain tumor that spreads to both sides of the brain. Doctors will surgically remove as much tumor as possible from one side, then use a minimally invasive laser to heat and destroy tumor tissue on the other side. The goal is to control the tumor's growth while trying to preserve the patient's thinking abilities and quality of life.
