First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a combination of surgery and heated chemotherapy (HIPEC) can help people with ovarian cancer that no longer responds to standard platinum-based chemo. About 140 adults with resectable tumors in the abdomen will be randomly assigned to get either surgery alone or surgery plus HIPEC. The goal is to see if the added treatment delays cancer growth and improves survival.
