First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated Apr 19, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of surgery and heated chemotherapy delivered directly into the abdomen can help women with recurrent ovarian cancer that has stopped responding to standard platinum-based drugs. About 140 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either this experimental approach or standard chemotherapy chosen by their doctor. The main goal is to see if the surgery and heated chemo treatment helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
