Surgeons test best way to move 'Hidden' testicle in boys
NCT ID NCT06558994
Summary
This study compares two ways of handling blood vessels during a two-part surgery to move an undescended testicle into the scrotum. It involves boys whose testicle cannot be felt and is located inside the abdomen. The goal is to see if cutting the vessels completely or tying them off leads to better testicle descent and health during the second surgery six months later.
