Can surgery save unstable knees from early arthritis?
NCT ID NCT06522659
Summary
This study looked back at 42 patients who had surgery for multiple torn knee ligaments between 2000 and 2019. The goal was to see how well the surgeries worked long-term to restore knee stability, improve function, and potentially prevent early arthritis. Researchers analyzed patient-reported outcomes and medical records to understand the real-world effectiveness of these complex procedures.
