New surgical approach may reduce incontinence risk after prolapse repair
NCT ID NCT03200327
Summary
This study compared two surgical techniques for treating pelvic organ prolapse in women aged 50-80. Researchers wanted to see if one method caused fewer new cases of stress urinary incontinence after surgery while providing similar results. The trial was terminated early and enrolled 55 participants who were followed for 12 months.
