New study tests which surgery works best for pelvic floor problems
NCT ID NCT06903988
Summary
This study compares two different surgical approaches for treating moderate to severe pelvic organ prolapse in women. Researchers are testing whether a newer laparoscopic procedure is at least as effective as a traditional vaginal surgery. The trial follows 86 patients for one year after surgery to see which method provides better long-term support and fewer complications.
