New hope for pancreatic cancer: surgery after chemo may remove spread tumors
NCT ID NCT07340151
First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether surgery can help people with pancreatic cancer that has spread to only a few spots in the liver or lungs. Everyone gets a chemotherapy combination called NALIRIFOX before surgery. If the cancer shrinks or stays the same after 4 cycles, doctors may remove both the main tumor and the small spots. The goal is to see if this approach can safely remove all visible cancer.
