Breakthrough eye surgery trial aims to save sight from devastating bleeds

Summary
This study is for people with a severe eye bleed caused by wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It compares the current standard treatment (eye injections) against the same injections plus a surgical procedure. The surgery aims to physically remove the blood clot from the center of vision. Researchers want to see if adding surgery leads to better vision recovery than injections alone.
