New surgical hope for inoperable lung cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07126509

Summary

This study is testing whether a surgery to remove part of the lung lining can help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life for people with advanced pleural mesothelioma that cannot be fully removed. Researchers will follow 30 participants for about 2 years after surgery to track their symptoms, recovery, and overall health. The goal is to see if this procedure provides meaningful relief when complete cancer removal isn't possible.
