Surgery-Chemo combo for stomach cancer: hope or halt?
NCT ID NCT03042169
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether removing the main stomach tumor and treating the single spot where cancer had spread, along with chemotherapy, helps people with stage IV stomach cancer live longer. It was designed for patients whose cancer had not worsened after initial chemo. The trial was stopped early after enrolling only 6 people, so results are limited.
