Summary

This study aims to understand the physical strain surgeons experience during operations. Researchers will measure muscle activity, posture, and hand forces on 10 experienced surgeons performing bowel and prostate surgeries using both robotic and standard laparoscopic methods. The goal is to gather data that could lead to better-designed surgical equipment and training to protect surgeons' long-term health.
