New study reveals mental health boosters for newly diagnosed MS patients

NCT ID NCT06403631

First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at 361 people recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis to understand how mindfulness and flow experiences (being fully absorbed in an activity) relate to their mental health. Participants filled out questionnaires about their mental health, anxiety, and depression at the start and again 6 months later. The goal was to learn which daily activities help improve well-being, not to test a treatment.
