Can an online group give exhausted caregivers their confidence back?
NCT ID NCT07356063
Summary
This study aims to see if an 8-week online support group can help improve the confidence and coping skills of parents and caregivers looking after children with severe muscle diseases (SMA or DMD). Researchers will work with 30 caregivers in Pakistan, providing them with group sessions, educational videos, and expert talks. They will measure if the caregivers feel more capable in their role after the 8-week program compared to before it started.
