New program aims to ease financial burden for families of young cancer survivors

Summary

This study is testing a support program designed to help caregivers of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors. The program connects caregivers with community resources and financial guidance to reduce the stress of medical costs. Researchers will work with 60 English- and Spanish-speaking caregiver-patient pairs to see if this navigation model improves financial well-being over 6 months.
