First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether staying on your back for 5 days after a cornea transplant helps the new tissue stay in place better than just 1 day. About 100 adults with Fuchs corneal dystrophy will be randomly assigned to either 1 or 5 days of lying flat. Researchers will measure graft detachment, need for extra procedures, and side effects like back pain.
