Summary
This study will test whether a superficial cervical plexus block, a numbing injection near certain neck nerves, can reduce pain after maxillofacial surgeries like abscess drainage or lymph node biopsies. Seventy adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to receive the block or standard care. Researchers will measure how long it takes before patients need extra pain relief and how much pain they report.
