Summary

This study tests a mobile app called SuperAssist that helps mental health supervisors focus on their clients' goals during supervision. The goal is to see if using the app improves job well-being, reduces burnout, and boosts the quality of care. About 180 mental health providers and their supervisors will use the app for 6 months. This is a pilot study, so it's mainly checking if the approach is feasible and promising.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
SuperAssist mobile app and client-centered supervision training
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward a simple, low-cost way to reduce burnout and improve care quality for mental health providers.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study testing feasibility, not effectiveness. The app may not show meaningful benefits, and results may not apply to all settings.
