Summary
This study tested a program called Super Skills for Life (SSL) in 126 fifth-grade children from six schools in Pakistan. The program uses cognitive-behavioral therapy to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms and improve self-esteem, social skills, and quality of life. Children were randomly assigned by school to either the SSL program or a waiting list. Assessments were done before, after the 8-session program, and again 6 months later.
