New pill shows promise for rare lung cancer mutations

Summary

This study tests a drug called sunvozertinib in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who have not had prior treatment and carry certain uncommon EGFR gene mutations. About 34 participants will receive the drug to see how well it shrinks tumors and how safe it is. The goal is to control the disease and delay its progression.
