Summary
This small study tested whether eating a daily portion of sunflower seeds could help lower high cholesterol. Researchers recruited 28 middle-aged men with elevated cholesterol and had half of them eat the seeds for 45 days. The goal was to see if this simple, natural food could be a useful part of managing heart health.
