Hand and foot therapy tested to ease cancer treatment discomfort

NCT ID NCT06430177

Summary

This study tested whether sujok therapy, a non-drug approach using seed pressure on hand and foot points, could help cancer patients feel more comfortable during a common procedure. Researchers compared 60 patients receiving chemotherapy: one group got the real therapy, one got a placebo version, and one got no special therapy. They measured pain, anxiety, and overall comfort before and after the port catheter was placed to see if the therapy made a difference.
