NCT ID NCT07325474

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a tablet-based program called Plan & Protect can help teens who come to rural emergency rooms with suicidal thoughts or self-harm. The program guides teens and their parents on how to make the home safer by locking up medications and firearms. Researchers will compare teens who use the program with those who get usual care to see if it reduces suicide risk and improves follow-up mental health visits.
